Chinese handset maker Lenovo today launched a new Android smartphone, S660, priced at Rs 13,999.
The company had announced the handset at the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona in February and India is the first market where the smartphone will be sold.
The S660 is a 4.7-inch device featuring 1.3GHz quad-core processor, Android Jelly Bean operating system, Lenovo's proprietary DOit Apps (SHAREit and SYNCit) as well as 3000mAh battery.

Additionally, the dual 3G SIM capable handset has 8MP rear camera and supports up to 32GB data via a microSD card.

Autodesk starts SketchBook Design competition in 30 countries * IT firm Autodesk today launched an online design competition for youth in over 30 countries to showcase their creative talent.
Participants will use Autodesk SketchBook Express to create an original piece of artwork that best depicts the theme, 'Your story. Your masterpiece. Our canvas', the company said in a statement.
The campaign, 'Live it. Sketch it. Share it', "illustrates Autodesk's commitment to helping students to imagine, design, and create a better world by supporting their creativity with seamless access to Autodesk technology, it added.
The competition is open until July 31 and panel of judges from the fields of art and design will review finalist entries and determine the winners.
The winners will will get the opportunity to have their entry showcased on the Autodesk SketchBook blog and deviantART websites.
