A two-year-old leopard was caught alive by a team of wildlife officials in Doda district of Jammu and Kashmir, an official said today.

Wildlife Warden Majid Bashir said the team laid a trap in Gundna village of Kerni after local residents complained that a leopard was roaming freely in the residential areas, posing danger to their lives and livestock.

"The leopard fell in the trap yesterday and was subsequently shifted to Manda Zoo in Jammu," the official said.
