Leopard caught in Maharashtra

A leopard, which had ventured into a village here, was caught, forest officials said today.

The leopard was spotted roaming in Umarale Budruk village in Dindori tehsil since a past few days, they said.

Following complaints by farmers, a cage was kept in a field and the animal was trapped yesterday, an official said.
