A leopard was killed after being hit by an unidentified vehicle on Nishanagarh-Katarnia road in Katarnia Wildlife range here, police said today.
A male leopard, aged about four months, was found dead on the road yesteday, Forest Range Officer Gayadin said.
Prima facie it appeared that it was hit by some vehicle, he added.
A probe is on in the matter.
