A three-and-half year old male leopard was killed in a road accident on Shivrajpur highway in neighboring Panchmahal district falling under vadodara forest range, official sources said today.
The incident took place yesterday when the animal was run over by a speeding vehicle after it strayed out of the forest region, they said.
After getting information on the carcass lying near the road in the area, the range forest officer rushed to the spot following which it was sent for postmortem.
