A three-year-old leopardess was found electrocuted today after it came into contact with a live wire at Doddabetta on the outskirts.
As the power house received calls about snapping of an high tension line and power cut in the area, the linemen rushed to the spot and found the animal entangled in the wire and the carcass charred, police said.
Investigations are on to find out the reason for snapping of the line, since construction of a big building is in progress nearby, police added.
