"Homeland" director Lesli Linka Glatter has been roped in by Amazon to helm the upcoming adaption of "The Banker's Wife".
Linka Glatter will direct all the eight episodes of the first season, while Emmy-winner Meredith Stiehm will be writing the script, reported Deadline.
The thriller, based on the best-selling novel by Cristina Alger, set in the world of global finance and "follows two women searching for answers when a mysterious plane crash sets them off on parallel pursuits of truth".
"As soon as we read 'The Banker's Wife', we knew this would be a series that our Amazon Prime Video customers will love, a fast-paced, compelling story that pulls you in immediately. We're thrilled to be working with Meredith and Lesli to bring their vision to the screen," Jennifer Salke, Head of Amazon Studios, said in a statement.
Both Stiehm and Linka Glatter are executive producing the series.
