Odisha Tourism Development Corporation (OTDC) today feared less tourist flow during Rath Yatra festival because of the devastations in Uttarakhand.
"We apprehend that the number of tourists from north India may reduce because of the devastating flood in Uttarakhand," OTDC Managing Director Manoranjan Patnaik said.
During the 9-day car festival and Lord's Golden Attire on the concluding day, about 10 lakh people from across the country visit Puri.
"This year, the number may reduce by one or two lakh," Patnaik said.
