Alleging that there have been attempts to disrupt social amity by "misleading" the weaker sections, Uttarakhand Chief Minister Trivendra Singh Rawat today underlined the need to collectively guard against such forces.
"The weaker sections become a soft target in the hands of elements out to disrupt social peace and amity. We have to understand this and foil such attempts," Rawat said at inauguration of a social amity campaign by the BJP's youth wing on the eve of Ambedkar Jayanti here.
"All round development of the society which was the dream of Babasaheb Ambedkar can be achieved only when we iron out our differences and dedicate ourselves to the cause of building a new India," he said.
