Whitney Houston's mother has rebuked the makers of the singer's TV biopic, asking them to let her rest.
The life of 'I Will Always Love You' hitmaker, who died young in an accident, will transcend on the small screen in a biopic, which will star model Yaya DaCosta.
"Lifetime has chosen to go ahead with the movie about Whitney in spite of my family's objections. No one connected with this movie knew Whitney or anything about her relationship with (ex-husband) Bobby (Brown).

Actress Angela Bassett, who co-starred with Houston in 1995's 'Waiting to Exhale', is making her directorial debut with the Whitney film but her mother said she is tired of such stories.
"We are exhausted by the continuing misinformation and comments offered by people who did not know her. Please please let her rest," Cissy said.
