Rocker Liam Gallagher has promised to quit music if his band's new album tanks.

The Beady Eye frontman said he would rather put his feet up for good than listen to fans dislike the group's new record, 'BE', which will be out next month, reported Sun online.

"If we're barking up the wrong tree with this record, I don't know if I can be able to continue my profession. I'll never be a plumber, I'll never be a fashion designer.

"Maybe I'd just sail off into the distance and enjoy my life, instead of worrying about what some spotty little fans from Hastings thinks about the record," he said.
