Cyrus, 18, was reportedly trying to hide the sharp new cut during a night-out with Hemsworth, 22, in Philadelphia, reported Huffington Post.
"Feeling so happy in my skin. He (Liam) loves (my haircut). Last night he said I look the happiest he's seen me in a while he likes seeing my eyes more," she posted on Twitter.
She got her new look from celebrity hairstylist Chris McMillan.
