"The minority community has been pushed to brink as far as their socio-economic condition was concerned and the Centre and state governments are collectively responsible for the plight of the Muslims by not implementation the reports of two judicial committees that recommended various measures for their alleviation," CPI(M-L) General Secretary Deepankar Bhattacharya told a press conference here.

The Centre and state governments appeared not interested in improving the lot of the Muslims who were slumped to the brink as far as education, employment, housing and basic amenities were concerned, he said and demanded immediate implementation of the two judicial committees' reports.

In Bihar too, he alleged the minority community had been denied their rights by successive governments including the present one.
