Libertines to headline By the Sea Festival 2017

Pete Doherty and Carl Barat of The Libertines are set to headline the third year of By the Sea Festival at Margate in Dreamland.

The band will be joined by Everything Everything and Metronomy across three days of music, with a host of other acts still to be announced, reported Digital Spy.

The festival will run from September 29 to October 1, with indie quartet Everything Everything headlining Friday, electronic maestros Metronomy on Saturday and English rock band closing the festival on Sunday.

The Libertines might perform their hits such as "Can't Stand Me Now", "Don't Look Back Into The Sun", "Time For Heroes" and "What Katie Did".
