A court here today sentenced three members of a family to life imprisonment for killing their neighbour.
Additional District and Session Judge of Bankura Apurba Sinha Roy convicted Dilip Mal, Madhu Mal and Prashanta Mal for killing their neighbour Jiten Mal.
The Judge sentenced them to life imprisonment and also imposed a fine of Rs 5000 on each of the accused. If they fail to pay the fine then they will have to undergo another six months of imprisonment.
According to prosecution in July, 2012, Dilip Mal, his wife Madhu and son Prashanta attacked neighbour Jiten Mal with spade, spears and killed him over some dispute.
