A local court here has awarded life sentence to 32-year-old man for murdering his wife in 2013.
The prosecution case was that Muniappan suspected his wife Kavitha's fidelity and used to quarrel sith her. On January 18, 2013 poured kerosene on her and set fire her body after a quarrel between them.
Though she was admitted to a Government Hospital, she succumbed to burns.
Police registed a murder case against Muniappan.
Mahila Court Judge Thirunavukarasu awarded life sentence to hims yesterday.
