Light rain occurred at isolated places over western Uttar Pradesh with Muzaffarnagar recording the lowest temperature of 4.6 degrees Celsius, a MeT official said today.
The day temperature fell in Faizabad, Allahabad and Jhansi divisions while night temperature dropped in Varanasi division.
According to the official, weather was dry over eastern parts of the state.
Cold wave condition is likely to prevail at isolated places tomorrow, the MeT department predicted.
