Light rains in capital

A day after it recorded the hottest February day in the past one decade, light scattered rains were witnessed in parts of the national capital making the weather pleasant.

The maximum temperature settled at 30.5 degrees Celsius, three notches above the normal while the minimum temperature rose to settle at 18 degrees Celsius, six notches above the season's average, a Met department official said.

Humidity level oscillated between 77 and 34 per cent.

The MeT department has predicted mainly clear skies for tomorrow with the possibility of haze in the morning.

The maximum and minimum temperatures are expected to settle around 29 and 15 degrees Celsius, respectively, he added.
 

Yesterday, the minimum and maximum temperatures were recorded at 12.5 and 32.5 degrees Celsius, respectively.
