Delhiites woke up to light rains today with the minimum temperature settling at 26.2 degrees Celsius.
"The humidity level recorded at 8.30 AM was 92 per cent and the minimum temperature settled at 26.2 degrees Celsius, normal for this time of the year," a MeT official said.
4.9 mm rainfall was recorded overnight, he added.
"Light rains can occur in some areas evening onwards but humidity levels are expected to be high. The mercury is likely to settle at 34 degrees Celsius, a notch above normal" the official said.
Yesterday, maximum temperature was recorded at 34.2 degrees Celsius, whereas minimum settled at 27.8, both one notches above normal for this time of the year.
