Light rains lash parts of Delhi

Light rains lashed parts of national capital today even as the mercury settled a notch above normal for this time of the year.

"The maximum and minimum temperatures were recorded at 34.9 and 25.7 degrees Celsius respectively," a MeT official said.

Humidity levels osscilated between 88 and 56 per cent.

While the Safdarjung and Lodi Road obesrvatory recorded 5.6 mm and 9.8 mm rainfall, nil rainfall was recorded by Palam observatory.

The weatherman has predicted a partly cloudy morning tomorrow with the maximum and minimum temperatures expected to hover around 34 and 25 degrees Celsius.

Yesterday, the maximum was recorded at 35 degrees Celsius, while mercury had dipped to low of 26 degrees Celsius.
