Light rains occurred at isolated places in Rajasthan this morning with Churu recording the highest temperature in the state at 41.5 degrees Celsius.
Kota recorded at 40.6 degrees Celsius while Bikaner and Jaisalmer recorded day temperatures at 40.5 degrees Celsius each.
Maximum temperatures recorded at other stations were below 40 degrees Celsius, the MeT department said.

The MeT has forecast thunderstorms with rains are expected are isolated areas in the state during the next 24 hours.
