Light to moderate rain or
thundershowers occurred at isolated places in western Uttar Pradesh in the last 24 hours.

Rains coupled with hail lashed Muzaffarnagar and nearby places but no damage to crops and property was reported.
Temperatures rose appreciably in Varanasi, Allahabad and Jhansi divisions and increased in Faizabad, Kanpur, Lucknow, Moradabad and Meerut divisions.
The mercury was appreciably above normal in Lucknow, Bareilly and Agra divisions, markedly above normal in Kanpur, Moradabad and Meerut divisions, above normal in Allahabad, Jhansi divisions and normal in the remaining divisions of the state.
Lowest minimum temperature was 6.0 degree Celsius in Etawah.
