Light rains predicted in some parts of capital

Delhiites today woke up to a humid morning with the weatherman predicting light rains or thunder storm in some parts of the national capital.

According to MeT department, minimum temperature was recorded at 28.4 degrees Celsius, which was two notches above normal.

An official of the department said that humidity level was recorded at 74 per cent till 8.30 AM.

"There would be partly cloudy sky. Light rain or thunder storm may occurred in some parts of the national capital and maximum temperature is expected to settle at 36 degrees Celsius," he said.

He also said that light rains may bring down the temperature.
 

Yesterday, the maximum temperature had been recorded at 38.2 degrees Celsius, five notches above normal while minimum temperature settled at 27.5 degrees, a notch above normal.
