Light rains and thundershowers occurred at isolated places in Uttar Pradesh with Allahabad being the hottest place in the state with 44.6 degrees Celsius, the MeT office said.
Rainfall was recorded in Bijnore and Moradabad, it said.
Day temperatures were above the normal in Gorakhpur, Varanasi, Faizabad, Allahabad and Moradabad.

Rain and thunder showers is very likely at isolated places on May 25, it said.
