Light to moderate rainfall occurred at many places in Bihar today.
As per Met bulletin, light to moderate rainfall occurred at many places in north west, north central parts of the state while light rainfall occurred in north east and south east parts of the state with weather remaining dry at other parts of the state.
The state has been in the grip of scorching heat for the past several days and the cloudy weather conditions brought the temperature down in some places.

Bhagalpur recorded the highest maximum temperature at 37.5 degrees Celsius which was followed by Purnea at 35.7, Gaya at 35.1 and Patna at 33.5 degrees Celsius, Met office said.
The state capital received 0.2 mm of rainfall.
The Met department forecast partly cloudy sky with possibility of rain or thunderstorm tomorrow in most parts of Bihar including Patna, Gaya, Bhagalpur and Purnea.
