The day temperatures dipped by few notches at many places in Rajasthan even as light to moderate rainfall occurred at isolated areas of the state.
Kota was recorded as the hottest place with a maximum temperature of 43.8 degrees Celsius.
Day temperatures also dipped by few notches at many places in the state where Jaisalmer, Sriganganagar, Churu and Jaipur recorded maximum of 41.4, 41.3, 41 and 40.6 degrees Celsius respectively

Meanwhile, light rainfall occurred at isolated areas in eastern part of the state and light to moderate rains at isolated pockets in western parts of the state.
Bansur (Alwar), Khajuwala (Bikaner) and Kishangarhwas (Alwar) each recorded 3 cm, while several other places recorded 2 cm and 1 cm rains till morning since yesterday.
Bikaner, Churu, Pilani and Ajmer also received 23.6 mm, 8.2 mm, 5.6 mm and 1.6 mm rains till this evening, according to the MeT Department here.
The department has predicted thunderstorm with rains at isolated places in the state in the next 24 hours.
