Light to moderate rains in Raj, Sriganganagar hottest at 36.5

Light to moderate rains occurred at a few places in Jaipur, Kota, Bharatpur and Udaipur divisions, with Sriganganagar being the hottest place in Rajasthan, recording a maximum temperature of 36.5 degrees Celsius.

Rainfall was also recorded at isolated placed in Ajmer and Bikaner divisions, with a dry weather in Jodhpur, in the last 24 hours.

According to MeT department, Behror (district Alwar) recorded 6 cm rainfall followed by 5 cm in Kotkasim (district Alwar), 4 cm in Tapukara (district Alwar).

Degod (district Kota), Bansur (district Alwar), Khetri (district Jhunjhunu), Pratapgarh (district Pratapgarh) and Taranagar/Reni (district Churu) recorded a rainfall of 1 cm each.
 

Sriganganagar was hottest at 36.5 degrees Celsius, followed by 35.4 in Bikaner, 34 in Jaisalmer, 32.6 in Barmer, 32 in Churu and 31.6 in Jaipur respectively.

MeT department has predicted rainfall/thunderstorm with rainfall likely to occur at isolated places in the state.
