Light to moderate rains lashed several parts of Uttar Pradesh even as the southwest monsoon remained weak over the state.
Lalitput and Mahroni received the maximum of 3 cm rainfall each followed by Muzaffarpur (2 cm), Naraini, Ghazipur, Varanasi, Zamania, Agra and Iglas (1 cm each), the Met department said.
Rains and thundershowers very likely at few places over east UP for next three days.
