A seven-year-old child was killed in a lightning strike here today, police said.
Vijay Masih (7) died on the spot as lightning struck him while he was going to school on a bicycle in village Pakhoke Tahli Sahib here, they said.
In another incident of lightning, Sumita (14) sustained burn injuries at Gandhi camp, they said, adding that she was admitted to civil hospital where her condition was stated to be out of danger.
