Rapper Lil Wayne has announced his new work 'Free Weezy Album', a few days after it was reported that he was suing label Cash Money over the delay of his another album 'Tha Carter V'.

The 32-year-old rapper said on Twitter on February 5 that he would release 'The Free Weezy Album' soon, reported Aceshowbiz.

"The Free Weezy Album... Coming soon FWA," he wrote and added in a separate tweet, "Free album. Free Weezy season. The Free Weezy Album. FWA."

Other details of the project are currently still kept under wraps.

'Tha Carter V' was originally planned to arrive in December before Wayne said the album was pushed back indefinitely.

He blamed Cash Money and its boss for the delay. He then expressed his desire to leave the label and eventually sued them for USD 51 million late last month.
