Model-turned-actress Lily Cole is all set to make her debut as Helen of Troy in the theatrical adaptation of Greek epic 'The Iliad'.
The 26-year-old actress will star as the 'most beautiful woman on the earth' in the adaptation by British poet Simon Armitage's 'The Last Days of Troy', reported BBC news.
The play, which has been described as "visceral reworking" of the epic, will premiere at Manchester's Royal Exchange theatre and will run from May to June.

Describing the epic as "a great action story", Armitage said, "the war itself is a story of east versus west, so I don't think it's too hard to see the parallels with the contemporary political world."
On-stage, Cole has previously made appearances in The Old Vic's one-off 24 Hour Plays and a Cambridge University production of The Seagull.
