Lin-Manuel Miranda releases rap song for 'The West Wing'

"Hamilton" star Lin-Manuel Miranda has released a rap song as a tribute to his favourite politcal drama series "The West Wing".

Also written by Miranda, 37, the song titled "What's Next?", was a collaboration between the actor and The West Wing Weekly Podcast, reported AceShowbiz.

Miranda can be heard rapping through the song and mentioning famous characters from the drama series, including Mrs Landingham (Kathryn Joosten), Nancy McNally (Anna Deavere Smith) and Admiral Fitzwallace (John Amos), while sampling some of President Josiah Bartlet's (Martin Sheen) original dialogues in the chorus.

"The West Wing" is a drama series created by Aaron Sorkin which ran from 1999 to 2006. The series was about the portrayal of many positions involved in the daily work of the federal government.
