Troubled star Lindsay Lohan's baby brother had a health scare this week when he was rushed to the hospital with a dangerously high fever.

16-month-old Landon Lohan, the son of Michael Lohan and Kate Major, is being cared for solely by his father as his mother is locked up.

Michael was the one to take his sick child to the doctor in the middle of the night, reported Radar online.

"Landon woke up with a 105.1 fever. He was limp and lethargic. I didn't know if he was going to make it. I was afraid it was not a virus but something worse," Michael said.

The baby was prescribed medication by doctors at the hospital and is now on the road to recovery.

Meanwhile, Michael has been forced to adapt to life as a single parent after his fiancee, the mother of Landon, was sentenced to eight months behind bars after she was arrested for driving under the influence (DUI) earlier this year.

"He's (Landon is) my life now and he's amazing. He's all I have down here now. I thought it would be really really hard to be a single dad, but you roll with the punches," he said.
