A 52-year-old government employee died after he fell from an electric pole in Baramulla district of Kashmir Valley, police said today.
Ghulam Ahmad Ganie, a Power Development Department (PDD) lineman, was repairing an electric cable at Drooru village of Tangmarg when he fell from the pole, a police spokesman said.
He said Ganie was rushed to hospital where he was declared brought dead.
