Linseed oil prices declined in an otherwise lacklustre Vashi oils and oilseeds wholesale market here today due to subdued demand from paint and allied industries.
Meanwhile, groundnut oil, refined palmolein, castorseeds bold and castoroil commercial ruled steady in the absence of any worthwhile large-scale buying activity.
In the non-edible segment, linseed oil slipped by Rs 5 per 10kg to Rs 850 from Wednesday's closing level of Rs 855. However, castoroseeds bold and castoroil commercial closed unchanged at Rs 4,000 per 100kg and Rs 830 per 10kg, respectively.
Moving to edible section, groundnut oil and refined palmolein ruled unaltered at Rs 770 and Rs 632 per 10kg.
