Linseed oil dropped further at the Vashi oils and oilseeds wholesale market here today following reduced demand from paint and allied industries.
Elsewhere, castorseed bold and castoroil commercial extended their falls due to lack of demand from shippers and soap industries.
While, refined palmolein edged up owing to mild offtake from retailers and groundnut oil ruled steady in an absence of any large-scale buying activity.
In the non-edible segement, linseed oil dipped by Rs 25 per 10kg to Rs 1,250 from Thursday's level Rs 1,275.
Castorseed bold moved down by Rs 10 per 100kg to Rs 3,175 from yesterday's close Rs 3,185 and castoroil commercial edged down by Rs 2 per 10kg to Rs 665 as compared Rs 667 previously.
In the edible segment, refined palmolein inched up by a Re per 10kg to Rs 578 as against Rs 577 previously and groundnut oil closed unchanged at Rs 1,190 per 10kg.
