Linseed oil prices rebounded at the Vashi oils and oilseeds wholesale market here today following renewed demand from paint and allied industries.
Elsewhere, castorseed bold and castoroil commercial too recovered due to fresh offtake from shippers and soap industries.
However, Groundnut oil and refined palmolein ruled stable in absence of any large-scale buying activity.
In the non-edible segment, linseed oil climbed by Rs 30 per 10 kg to Rs 1,280 from Friday's closing level Rs 1,250, Castorseed bold rose by Rs 20 per 100 kg to Rs 3,195 from Rs 3,175 and castoroil commercial moved up by Rs 4 per 10 kg to Rs 669 compared Rs 665 yesterday.
Moving to edible segment, Groundnut oil and refined palmolein closed unchanged at Rs 1,190 and Rs 578 per 10 kg, respectively.
