In the futures market, castorseeds also dropped further owing to hectic selling amidst lack of export enquiries.
In non-edible segment, linseedoil moved up by Rs 5 per 10 kg to Rs 835 from overnight close of Rs 830.
Castorseeds bold slipped by Rs 135 per 100 kg to Rs 4,115 from Friday's closing level of Rs 4,250 and castoroil commercial slid by Rs 27 per 10 kg to Rs 853 from Rs 880.
Turning to edible section, refined palmolein softened by a rupee per 10 kg to Rs 621. Groundnutoil closed unchanged at Rs 1,260.
Moving to futures section, castorseed for June contract resumed steady at Rs 4,530 later drifted lower to close at Rs 4,410 as compared to Rs 4,530 previously, showing fall of Rs 120 per tonne.
