Liqour sale banned in border taluka of Belgaum district

: Sale of arrack has been banned in the border area of Karnataka-Maharashtra for three days from today in the wake of October 15 Assembly polls in Maharashtra.

An order to this effect was issued by the Deputy Commissioner, Belgaum, covering Belgaum, Khanapur, Athani, Hukkeri, Chikodi and Raibag taluka villages, an official release said.
