Some unidentified persons shot dead a liquor salesman in posh Hazratganj area here today, police said.
The gunmen fired bullets at 45-year-old Sunil Kumar Jaiswal, a liquor salesman, following some dispute, they said.
Jaiswal was sitting in his shop located near the state guest House at Meera Bai Marg when he was attacked, police said.
He was rushed to a hospital where he was declared brought dead.
The assailtants were absconding and a hunt had been launched to nab them, police said.
