Delhiites are in for a unique treat next week in the form of a literary festival where anyone can pose any query on anything and expect an instant poetic reply in Hindi, Sanskrit or Telugu.

Taking 'Avadhanam', an ancient skill-oriented art of spontaneously answering to any topic to the national capital, eminent scholar from Andhra Pradesh, Madugula Nagaphani Sarma is organising Avadhaana Raajadhanee here from November 2 to 9.

"I would be answering about 500 questions to be posed by 225 scholars on a variety of subjects at Delhi. There could be any question raised by the scholars on diverse subjects and I should come out with an instant reply in slokas," he told reporters here today.

General public can also ask questions of their choice, said Sarma who claims to have answered thousands of questions across the world during the last 40 years.

"On an average, I am answering around 30,000 questions every year. This skill requires good understanding of vedas, a close watch on current affairs and presence of mind," he said, while adding that scholars have to be given a satisfactory answer till they agree upon it.
