Living Local gets three new members on advisory board

Living Local, an online neighbourhood platform, appointed Magna Housing Finance MD Sachin Khandelwal, along with Anaggh Desai, founder of AD Consults and Akash Bhatia, Co-founder and CEO of Infinite Analytics to its advisory board.

Khandelwal will be acting as revenue and financial growth advisor. Desai will be acting as marketing advisor, and Bhatia will be the startup advisor, the company said in a statement.

The platform is aimed at helping users discover information through other users in their neighbourhoods through common experiences, interests, usage patterns or recommendations.

Vodafone launches new plans for prepaid customers

The country's second largest telco Vodafone today launched a set of plans with free calling and caps on data consumption for prepaid customers.
 

The price for the integrated plan for 4G handset users ranges from Rs 19 a day to Rs 89 per week, with data and calling benefits.

Vodafone director, commercial, Sandeep Kataria said the plans are pocket-friendly and affordable that can appeal to prepaid customers.

TCS partners Nexperia to transform applications, infra srvcs

The country's largest software exporter TCS today said semiconductor firm Nexperia has partnered with it to transform its applications and infrastructure services.

Without mentioning the deal details like contract value, a TCS statement said it was selected to enhance digital core through end-to-end enterprise application stack hosted on the TCS Cloud.

"The new solution is designed to improve the company's agility, drive growth for future operations and optimise capital investments," it said.

nexGTv app available on Amazon's Fire TV Stick

Subscription-led video entertainment platform nexGTv today said it will be available on Amazon's digital streaming device Fire TV Stick.

"Having captured a significant share of the Indian OTT entertainment market, we wanted to consolidate on the leadership position that nexGTv has achieved in the sector. Expanding our content outreach to smart TVs and similar large-screen offerings was therefore the next logical step," nexGTv Chief Operating Officer Abhesh Verma said.

As a part of the launch offer, over 100 live regional and national TV channels and around 500 movies will be available for free on Fire TV Stick.
