A lizard was allegedly found in food served at a globally acclaimed fast food chain outlet located in the eastern part of the city.
The incident occured two days ago but came to light today.
A woman lodged a police complaint against the fast food chain after allegedly finding the deep fried lizard in her food bought from the outlet.
"A woman along with her daughter went to the fast food chain counter and ordered french fries. After the french fries were served the woman noticed a dead lizard in it. She raised an alarm. Later on a police compliant was lodged," a police official said.
