Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy will hold meetings with Congress leaders and activists from different districts from tomorrow to gear up the party machinery for the local body polls.

Reddy will speak to leaders from four districts every day for about a week, Congress sources said.

Ministers, in-charge minister for a district, MPs, MLAs, MLCs, district Congress chief, district cooperative central bank president, heads of assembly segments and other leaders from each district would take part in the deliberations, they said.

Congress had put up an impressive show in the cooperative polls a few months ago and is keen on doing well in the local body polls ahead of next year's assembly and general elections.

The Chief Minister had earlier said local body polls would be held in July and August this year.
