Mustard oil prices firmed up by Rs 100 per quintal in an otherwise steady wholesale oils and oilseeds market today on pick up in demand from local parties against restricted arrivals from producing belts.
However, other edible and non-edible oils moved in a narrow range in limited deals and settled around previous levels.
Traders said besides pick up in demand from local parties, restricted supplies from producing belts mainly led to the rise in mustard oil prices.
