Two coaches of a local train derailed on the Trans Harbour line of the Central Railway on Sunday evening, following which services on the route were suspended, an official said.
The incident took place around 7 pm at a sharp curve near Vitava area, the official said.
Nobody was reported injured in the incident, he said.
"The Up and Down railway services were suspended temporarily as re-railing of coaches and restoration work is on," chief spokesperson of the Central Railway, Sunil Udasi, said.
