Local train services were hampered this evening in Dankuni and Amtala line on the Eastern Railway after overhead wires snapped in a storm, railway officials said.
In Dankuni route, local down train services were affected as overhead wires were hanging above the tracks, an ER official said.
Tree branches fell on overhead wires in Amtala leading to delay in local EMU train services for about 1.5 hour, South-Eastern Railway officials said.
