Lok Sansad, a coalition of people's movement, today said that it was "gross injustice" that despite consensus among parties several key bills were not passed in Parliament.

Several key bills like the Grievance Redress Bill, Disability Rights and SC/ST Amendment Bill were not passed in Parliament despite assurance given by parties, it said.

Lok Sansad is coalition of National Campaign for Peoples' Right to Information (NCPRI), Disabled Rights Group (DRG), National Association of Street Vendors of India (NASVI) and the National Coalition of Strengthening of Prevention of Atrocities Act (NCSPA).

"Parliament has failed millions of people by not passing the bills and denying them justice. It is gross injustice that despite consensus across all parties, the House did not pass the bills," Nikhil Dey NCPRI today said.
