Leading NRI industrialist Lord Swraj Paul's Caparo Group is building a hotel, office and retail complex in US' St Louis city to honour the memory of his son Angad.
Paul, during his visit to St Louis, Missouri last week, marked the commencement of the construction of the project named 'Hotel Angad'.
The project includes a 145-room hotel, office and retail complex at the Missouri Theatre building in St Louis' Grand Center district.

"The hotel will be a lasting tribute to Angad and Caparo and the Paul family's commitment to St Louis. I look forward to staying here on my next visit to the city," he said.
The project is being jointly developed by Bull Moose Industries -- North American division of the Paul family's Caparo Group -- and leading St Louis developer the Lawrence Group.
It will include new corporate head office accommodation for Bull Moose Industries.
The project is expected to be completed by July 2017.
"The name Angad comes from Hindu mythology book of Ramayana where Angad was a brave and honourable prince who wanted to do good for the places where he worked and this resonates with the City of Saint Louis which was named after King Louis IX of France who was canonised in 1297," Paul said.
Meanwhile, one of the companies acquired in the US by Paul, has dedicated itself to Angad as a tribute to his vision and determination to grow Caparo group'sNorth American businesses.
Paul attended the dedication ceremony at the company XL Specialised Trailers of Manchester, Iowa.
XL was acquired earlier this year by Bull Moose Industries.
Following the unveiling of a plaque dedicated to his late son and a tree planting ceremony to commemorate both Angad and his sister Ambika who died tragically in childhood, Paul said, "I was deeply moved by the XL management's tribute to Angad.

"Everything I have seen today at XL endorses Angad's vision and determination to grow our North American businesses," Paul said.
He would have been proud of what is being achieved by the XLteam, Paul said.
XL has grown from its foundation in 1995 to become the second largest player in the US customised heavy-haul trailer market for the commercial, construction and agricultural markets.
Its strong market position, potential for further growth and solid leadership team were contributing factors in Bull Moose Industries' decision to purchase XL.
For Bull Moose Industries, the XL acquisition forms a new business unit, or pillar, "Bull Moose Mobility", as it continues to aggregate companies of similar products and services under the Bull Moose industries umbrella.
Bull Moose Mobility will join Bull Moose Tube and Bull Moose Engineering in Bull Moose industries as part of Caparo's goal to diversity and double in size in North America over the next few years.
