Season five of comedy series 'Louie' will return with eight new episodes on April 9.
It is written, directed, edited, and produced by the show's creator, stand-up comedian Louis CK.
FX network gave CK "as much flexibility as we can" to accommodate his busy schedule, reported Ace Showbiz.
"He's got a very dynamic professional and creative life now. He wants to keep making the show, but he's trying to fit the intense process into all those other things," FX Networks CEO John Landgraf said.
'Louie' began airing in 2010.
